Strikers unveil new logo ahead of 2025 season

The Akron Strikers have unveiled their brand new logo which includes the familiar colorscheme featuring outrageous orange, pico orange, tundora, black and white.

The new primary logo features the “Akron Strikers” wordmark emblazoned in front of a flaming soccer ball, all enclosed by a traditional european soccer shield.

“We have been on a long journey, gathering feedback and insights from players as well as board members,” Jamie Kingsland, art director of Akron Soccer, said in a statement.

“We came up with no less than 12 choices for the girls to select from, and did online votes to get to the eventual winner.  It was pretty clear from the first poll that this choice was the front-runner.”

A limited-time fundraising sale featuring the new logo will be available online at  Akron Strikers Online Store starting today and running until January 12, 2025.  Proceeds will go to the Strikers team fund to help pay fees associated with training, equipment, tournaments, etc.
