Akron Soccer League Travel Program
TRAVEL SOCCER
The ASL Travel Soccer Program is the next level of soccer after our House League and dedicated to the technical and tactical development of players ages 8-19. Participation in Travel Soccer requires a higher level of commitment to the team.
We participate in the Buffalo & Western New York Junior Soccer League and play teams from neighboring towns in Western New York. Additionally, teams participate in 2-3 local tournaments during the season.
TRAVEL SOCCER COMMITMENT:
- June/July: Prospective Player Tryouts (select teams)
- Fall: Team assignments. Some coaches may run practices or team activities, as weather permits.
- January-March: Indoor training begins (1-2 per week). Some teams may participate in indoor leagues.
- March/April: Outdoor practice schedule begins and continues through July/early August. Typically 2 practices per week.
- Travel is local. Ex: Amherst, Clarence, West Seneca, Lockport, Orchard Park- locations vary by division.
2025 Season Cost: $300*
Fees include: full uniform, 10-game season with BWNYJSL, two tournaments, off-season training (partial or fully covered) and insurance. Fees and registration are only assessed once a player accepts a roster offer.
*Some teams may participate in additional off-season training and tournaments. These activities may not be included in registration.
